Atlas Mod for phpBB3 0.0 Alpha 1 out

I made a little release of Atlas Mod for phpBB3 today.
Remember: It’s the first alpha. Nobody else than me tested it yet and it may be unuseable. (But I don’t think so.)
A pre-beta is near

only some days passed and now it looks like there will be a first pre-beta in a few days.
Most features are ported and some rewritten for working with phpBB 3. I need to write a little setup guide and check which changes on the database are needed, then there will be a first release. Before reaching the first release candidate there will be a converter for converting the old data from phpBB 2 to phpBB 3.
The Beginning

After some time I thought it’s now time to upgrade my mums board to phpBB3, which means that we need a version of Atlas Mod for phpBB3. As Jonas Neubert (jonemo) allready said that he won’t have the time to work on a new version I thought that the community should work on Atlas Mod and we can host it here on Sourceforge.net.
I’m allready working on that new version for phpBB3 since some weeks. I had to study some phpBB related documentations and so on. At the moment it looks like there will be a first beta in the near future.
If you’re interessted in the developement process, you can take a look at it at our SVN repository. For all those who hate messed-up code I just say, that I found 13 files which need to be ported to phpBB3’s code and that I allready got 9 of them working.
I also think for the main release there should be an installer and a converter for all those who are allready running phpBB2 with Atlas Mod.
